Our journey so far
One woman's testimony, turned into a room with the lights on
Jamie's Joy began in 2021, out of founder Jamie Craddock's own journey into Christ-centred freedom. It exists to turn private pain into shared purpose.
What started as one testimony has become a Bible-based community where authenticity, prayer, and practical help meet — the kind of place where people trade shame for dignity, isolation for fellowship, and fear for a future they can actually picture.
We are the people who answer at seven o'clock on a Tuesday when you finally decide its time to let God take over.

Meet our founders
United in faith, one of them holding the wrench
Jamie and Allen Craddock built this together. The division of labour is not subtle.

Jamie Craddock
Founder
Jamie is the heartbeat of the mission — the reason it exists and the steady source of grace that keeps it anchored in compassion rather than performance. She has wrestled with the same fears newcomers arrive with, which is why she can talk about them without flinching.

Allen Craddock
Co-founder
Allen cheerfully describes himself as “the computer guy.” He builds the platform, the tools, and the plumbing that lets Jamie's vision reach people it would never have reached from a front room in Texas.
“I am not … but forever becoming.”

The people who make it happen
Our group leaders are fellow travellers first — men and women who have come through addiction, grief, or another life storm and found hope on the other side. Each brings a different testimony and the same conviction: that scripture, prayer, and honest company turn setbacks into stepping stones.
They do more than moderate. They host weekly check-ins, pray over requests by name, and pair newcomers with someone to be accountable to. Some go deep on budgeting or work; others on Bible study or emotional health. The point is to serve rather than to be seen.

Ginger McBride's own community
Guided by Grace sits alongside Jamie's Joy rather than inside it. Ginger brings Christian counselling to the work — the same scripture, held with a counsellor's training and a counsellor's patience.
